Who qualifies for Sharing Hope Ministry's free services?
Sharing Hope ministry will provide a Life Recovery Bible and Bible studies to any woman who is incarcerated or who is residing in a rehabiliation facility within the states that we serve. The ministry will not send more than one Bible to each woman. We strongly suggest that a woman who knows that she is about to be transfered to a different facility wait until after the move to request a Bible. We can not send additional Bibles to women who have given their Bibles to other women or had them confiscated because of misuse.

Why does Sharing Hope Ministry only provide services to women?
God started Sharing Hope Ministry for women who were incarcerated in Texas and has grown into a nation-wide ministry. There are many prison ministries that do very good work, but none that we are aware of that specifically target women and provide the Life Recovery Bible. Women have great influence in their families as mothers, wives, and daughters, and we believe we are helping the entire family when we are able to help the female component of that family. Funding is a roadblock to expanding the program to include men. We are dependent upon donations to pay for the services that we provide.

Where does the money for your services come from?
Sharing Hope Ministry, Inc., is a non-profit organization that relies on personal donations, fundraisers, and grants to pay for the materials that are sent out. The cost of sending one Life Recovery Bible and Christian materials is $15.00. Those interested in making a donation for a Bible can simply print the Contribution Record form, complete it, then mail the form and your donation.

How do I get a Life Recovery Bible for me or someone I know?
We suggest that you first check with your local Christian Bookstore to see if they carry the Life Recovery Bible. Anyone wishing to purchase a Bible for an inmate or for themselves should send a money order for $15.00 to Sharing Hope Ministry. Please make sure you provide contact information.

How many services do you provide each month?
Sharing Hope Minsitry has provided services to over 169,000 women since 1999. In 2010, we provided an average of 400 Bibles and 829 Bible studies to women each month. Our Stepping Stones volunteers work with an average of 14 women each month.
